MGP Sarvodaya Kendra was established in 1960 at Amirgadh, a village in the Tribal area of Banaskantha, North Gujarat with the expressed objective of local development in the fields of skill development, education, women' emancipation, agricultural development and cattle protection and development. A part of the newly Independent India, this trust was to impart what was then famous as 'Nai Taalim' - New Education for the New World.

The community warmly embraced the activities of the trust, calling the precincts - An Ashram - a place of refuge, education and peace, In 1976, the trust increased the scope of its activities to include 'Gau Seva' (Caring for cows), working towards the preservation and development of indigenous cow species such as the Kankrej. Further, we engage with the residents of the area to create awareness abut sustainable livelihood possibilities and providing skill development for economic growth.

Devikaben is a one of the leading Industrialist of Ahmedabad. During her lifetime she has chaired various social organisations. Through these organisations she had played active role in draught relief, earthquake rehabilitation, women empowerment, children’s health and education etc. At a personal level too she had been a kind-hearted philanthropist and driven MGP trusts for many years. She has taken through the ideas pass on by her father (founder of NGO) to make an difference to children & tribals of Amirgadh.
Devikaben Patel
Hasmukh Patel is a dedicated Gandhian activist since last 44 years motivated by Gandhian stalwarts He has been actively involved in planning and implementing several development activities in the remote tribal and rural areas of Gujarat.His major contribution in Education, Health, Rural livelihood, natural resource management, disaster management, preservation of tribal culture and other allied sectors. Recipient of many prestigious awards at national and international level Mr. Patel has been associated with more than two dozen public organizations in India and abroad.
Hasmukh Babubhai Patel
Maljibhai was MLA in Government of Gujarat. He is also founder of Gandhi Ashram Trust at Zilia, Patan District. He has been active gandhian worker who followed Gandhi Ideas. He is trust working for betterment of poors and needy students.He has dedicated his efforts to improving the quality of life of the most vulnerable populations of village. He has always been dedicated in giving the best services to the tribals & villagers of Amirgadh. He has individual mandates that range from the fields of health and education to architecture, rural development to women empowerment many more.
Maljibhai Devjibhai Desai

Lallubhai Arjanbhai Desai
Belaben has been a constant supporter of the MGP trusts. She has played active role in creating awareness of the trusts’ activities. She is responsible for providing direction to the organization, safegaurding the vision & setting the targets.The main focus is financial oversight, planning the programs, operating them with success rate, ensuring effective & efficient implementation for strong impact.
Belaben Sandeep Jhaveri
Since 2007 Hemangini is managing the Amirgadh based projects of MGP trusts. Software engineer by profession, she has worked not just in the software industry for over a decade but has also been a faculty in prestigious institutions such as DAIICT – Gandhinagar and NID – Gandhinagar. She has been fortunate to have a legacy of a grandfather and parents who have been philanthropists and social workers. Besides her constant involvement at Amirgadh, she is currently involved in creating awareness about organic farming and dairy amongst consumers as well as farmers
Hemangini Sameer Sinha
Among Gujarat’s foremost businessmen, Sameer Sinha is the founder & director of Savvy infrastructures Pvt Ltd. He is also a member in GIHED, ASCE, GICEA, APEX & founder member in LAA. He is Chairman of IGBC Gujarat Environment Chapter. He conducts the Social Corporate Responsibility Activities, Upliftment for the construction workers & their family.
